JK Place Hotel Capri
This must be one of the most expensive hotels in Capri but sits in an awesome location. Perched above the water by the Marina Grande.
I have added it here as it is awesome but to be honest I don't think anyone should spend that much on a room. If you happen to be a billionaire then go for it, just for a break off your superyacht.
Rates are 700 to 2700 Euro per room per night including breakfast.

Hotel Punta Tragara
Located on the SE corner of Capri this hotel enjoys all day sun and is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the bustle of Capri central.
There are 44 rooms and no 2 are alike. Each furnished in its own style. Some of the views from these suites are fantastic. Some of the suites are really expensive but if you get one of the cheaper ones you will still enjoy the trappings of this fine hotel.
Rates are from 350 to 2600 Euro per room per night including breakfast.

Recently renovated elegant charm. Not right in the centre but good views out over Marina Grande from this vantage point close enough to be a short stroll to the action.
This is one of the oldest buildings in Capri and its renovation is in keeping with its history.

Hotel della Piccola Marina
Newly refurbished into a modern type hotel on the southern slopes but still very handy to the centre of the action. It is an easy walk to the Piazetta. All rooms have a balcony and there is a great pool for cooling off in. This is a great location and well rated hotel.
Room rates are 180 to 400 Euro per room per night.

La Minerva
In a great location on the southern slopes catching the best of the sun. Offers a wide range of room from standard double (no view) to deluxe with terrace, jacuzzi and walk in drobe. Short walk to the action.
Rates are 140 to 420 Euro per room per night.

Three Star or less.
Hotel Mamela
On the edge of the main town on the Piccola side, one of the best value hotels in Capri. Great pool area and good views to the south. Gets the last of the sun. Short walk to the action.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and the sunny terraces and bougainvillea set it all off. You could do a lot worse for the same price.
Rates are 210 to 430 Euro per room per night including breakfast.

La Canasta Hotel
Charming hotel beautifully run. Close to the action but quiet enough when you have had enough. Beautifully kept gardens. Facing south to make the most of the sun and a pool to relax by.
Great place to unwind.
Not all rooms have sea views.
Rates are 150 to 230 Euro per room per night (includes breakfast). Minimum nights apply.

La Tosca
Budget. Offers great accomm for the budget traveller. Not flash but everything you need at the right price. Good location, 5-10 mins walk from the action.
Rates 70 to 140 Euro per room per night. As little as 45 Euro for a single room.
